An individual with a disability is:

  1. Any person who has a physical or mental disability that limits one or more major life activities, such as caring for oneself, manual tasks, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing, learning;
  2. Any person with a record of such an impairment; or
  3. Any person regarded as having such an impairment.
Alcoholism and past illegal drug use are considered disabilities.  
 
Federal and state fair housing laws prohibit housing discrimination of any sort against persons with disabilities.
