Covered Housing Developments that received financing or assistance through a program administered by the City of Los Angeles or the CRA/LA, including bond financing, must adopt the City’s Model Property Management Policies and Procedures and related forms to ensure that individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to rent, live in, and enjoy the housing and facilities.  These policies cover affirmative marketing, wait lists, filling accessible and conventional units, reasonable accommodations, auxiliary aids, service and assistance animals, effective communication, grievance procedures, and others.
