City of Los Angeles 2021 Emergency Renters Assistance Program

The City of Los Angeles, in partnership with the State of California and the federal government, has created the 2021 COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)  to assist residential renters who have been unable to pay their rent as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The 2021 Rent Relief Program opens March 30th at 8 AM and closes April 30th at 11:59 PM.

HCIDLA has collected some of the COVID resources available to residents, there are other resources the City’s FamilySource Centers (listed below), City and County agencies. Below are some of the sites that provide essentials to Angelenos, for example: DPSS Your Benefits Now, where you can apply for food card, cash assistance, and other related services. Stay Housed for tenants facing eviction or other tenant-landlord related issues. HCIDLA file a complaint assisting tenants and landlords resolve issues. etc.
