Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)

Because we receive CDBG, HOME, HOPWA and ESG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), we need to tell HUD and the public what we did with the money and the outcome of our projects compared to our goals. Picture of an evaluation scorecard, with options to check off Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, and Poor. Excellent is checked.HUD also requires that we provide other information like financial reports and how we administered their funds.

This HUD report is called the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). You can read the most recent CAPER in our library. You can also find archived CAPERs on HUD’s website.

At the end of the program year, we issue a draft of CAPER to get input and comments from Los Angeles City residents about federal fund expenditures. For 15 days we post a draft of our CAPER for a public review. If you would like to receive a notice through email when we post the draft CAPER, please subscribe and choose “Consolidated Plan.”
