The Affordable Housing Commission (AHC) consists of seven members, appointed by the Mayor, who advise the City’s leadership on affordable housing issues. Specifically, the Commission makes policy recommendations to address the city’s housing needs, including preserving and creating housing opportunities; reviews government’s plans and budgets to ensure they conform with City housing policy; and encourages cross-sector partnerships to promote the production and preservation of housing.
